For decades, humans learned the language of machines. That era is ending. I build AI systems that learn ours. Founder of Transcibe, turning conversations into organizational memory.

Manifesto

I started where most engineers start: teaching machines to do exactly what they are told. Software engineering first, then machine learning and deep learning, a degree built on both, finished with distinction. I learned how systems think, and how they fail.

Then, in late 2022, the interface broke open. When ChatGPT launched, most people saw a clever chatbot. I saw the first computer that met humans on human terms. Not a trend, but a once-in-a-generation shift in how people and machines talk to each other. I moved my entire career into AI engineering within months, and never looked back.

Computers should adapt to humans.
Not the other way around.

Every system I have built since is a test of that belief: retrieval systems that answer instead of listing, agents that act instead of waiting, a speechbot that let elderly people talk to a computer the way they talk to a person. Each one taught me the same lesson from a different angle: the knowledge organizations run on doesn't live in documents. It lives in conversations, and it evaporates the moment they end.

Transcibe is the consequence of that trajectory: a system that listens, understands, and turns the talking an organization does into memory it can think with. Not a pivot. A conclusion.

Organizations run on conversations. Decisions are made, promises are given, and context is created, but most of that knowledge disappears when the conversation ends. What remains is scattered across summaries, tools, and people’s memories.
